The Recertification Process

Because we are dedicated to maintaining a rigorous standard of excellence, ICEA certification is for four years and not for your teaching lifetime as an educator. ICEA believes that as teachers and doulas, you are continually educating yourselves and learning from your clients. Re-certification allows you to validate your commitment to your profession and continue to receive the benefits of ICEA affiliation. Recertification forms vary for each of the ICEA certification programs. Please be sure to download the appropriate forms for your certification program. All forms are in pdf format.

Members who take an ICEA Professional Workshop or attend the yearly ICEA Convention will fulfill the contact hour requirement for recertification.
