This book includes all the nuts and bolts about childbirth. Everything from cesarean deliveries to pain medications and endorphins to fathers is covered. It is a very practical guide to pregnancy and labor.
What makes this book a real gem is how it talks about the "art of birthing." This book is filled with drawings and prose about birthing and has a unique way of stating old ideas. I will definitely quote from this book in my classes.
This book was written about me. It describes how mothers feel about birth in their quiet times. Birth really does start from within, just like the baby.
