MOTHER AND BABY CARE:
INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE NEW FAMILY

by Marjorie M. Pyle
1995, 23 pages FM4796

Mother and Baby Care: Instructions for the New Family is a delightfully helpful and reassuring booklet for first-time parents. Its precise and up-to-date care recommendations also make it a great review for experienced parents, including grandparents. Its direct format with bold headings makes it easy to locate desired subject matter quickly, a plus for new parents. Warning signs are reviewed and detailed instructions are given regarding when to call for assistance. Mother and Baby Care answers many of the questions frequently asked by new parents. It is a wonderful tool for reinforcing postpartum and infant care instructions in the class and during the hospital stay.
