What has been your experience on a personal and/or professional level with perinatal mood and anxiety disorders?

At my hospital we host a weekly support group for Pregnancy and Postpartum Depression. It is facilitated by a licensed social worker. This has been going on for about 8 years. Our biggest challenge has been getting people to attend. We have tried to get the word around. We give every patient a handout before discharge that lists resources around the city, including our group. I think women either look for private individual therapy or deny/ignore their problem.
